Mukasa Memorial Medical Centre is a charitable Medical Centre founded in 2017 by Dr. Bonny Mazinga Kyalwazi and his wife, Vivian Kyalwazi. Driven by compassion and a deep concern for rising illness and death rates among children, pregnant women, and the elderly, they envisioned a healthcare facility where quality, affordable medical services are accessible to all - especially in underserved rural communities.
Located in the heart of a remote region in Uganda, our Medical Centre served a population of over 1 million people from the districts of Mukono, Luwero, Nakasongola, and Kamuli. These communities are largely made up of peasant farmers and unemployed residents, many of whom struggle to afford basic healthcare.
Sadly, our operations were severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. With limited resources, reduced patient visits, and skeletal staff, the Medical Centre was eventually forced to close its doors.
Today, we are on a mission to reopen and fully refurbish Mukasa Memorial Medical Centre. We are actively seeking support in the form of:
Your support can help restore hope and health to thousands. Join us in rebuilding this vital community lifeline.
At Mukasa Memorial Medical Centre, we work in some of the most remote and impoverished areas of Uganda, where many children grow up without access to even the most basic needs. These children face daily challenges—limited access to healthcare, education, and proper nutrition. But with your support, their story can change.
Sponsoring a child is one of the most powerful ways to break the cycle of poverty. Your sponsorship will help provide:
But sponsorship goes beyond just meeting physical needs—it offers hope. Children who receive an education are significantly more likely to become self-sufficient, support their families, and contribute positively to their communities. One child’s transformation can ripple out to impact generations.

A Call for Donations to Aid Mobility, Health, and Personal Care for the Elderly
As our loved ones age, they often face a variety of challenges that can affect their mobility, health, and overall well-being. Common health conditions such as arthritis, cancer, chronic kidney disease, and many others can significantly impact their ability to manage daily activities and maintain independence. For seniors, even simple tasks can become difficult as they navigate physical and cognitive limitations caused by age-related conditions.
Providing support for our elderly community is essential. With the right resources, such as mobility aids and personal care assistance, we can help seniors maintain a higher quality of life and continue to live with dignity. However, we need your support to ensure they receive the care and tools they need to stay independent and comfortable.
Health Complications Affecting the Elderly and How We Can Support Them:
Every donation, no matter the size, can make a significant difference in the life of a senior. By contributing, you’ll help ensure that elderly individuals facing these health complications can receive the care and support they need to live independently, comfortably, and with dignity.
Please consider donating today to help improve the lives of our seniors. Together, we can make sure they continue to receive the support they deserve. Please Donate Today
Empowering the Youth: The Importance of Comprehensive Sex Education, Preventing Teenage Pregnancies, and Combatting Sexually Transmitted Diseases
In today’s world, it's essential to provide young people with accurate, accessible, and empowering sex education. Educating youth about sexual health, contraception, and the risks of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is critical in shaping informed, responsible individuals. Comprehensive sex education helps prevent unintended pregnancies, reduces the spread of STDs, and promotes healthy relationships and emotional well-being.
Common Types of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) Include:
By engaging with the youth on these topics, we can empower them to make responsible decisions, understand the importance of safe sexual practices, and prioritize their long-term health and happiness. Teaching young people about these common STIs—and how to protect themselves—plays a vital role in preventing the spread of infections and ensuring they are equipped to make safe choices.
Let's work together to ensure that every young person has the knowledge and tools to protect themselves, prevent unintended pregnancies, and avoid the risks of STIs, fostering a healthier and more informed future.
In response to the urgent healthcare needs of our community, we are working to renovate and reopen Mukasa Memorial Medical Centre. Our mission is to restore essential health services for the most vulnerable—especially the elderly, pregnant women, and children—who continue to face serious barriers to medical care in our region.
To make this possible, we are appealing for support in the following areas:
With your help, we aim to re-establish a fully functional facility offering a wide range of critical services, including:
Your generosity will have a direct and lasting impact on the health and well-being of countless families in our catchment area. Whether through a donation, equipment, or your time, every contribution brings us closer to reopening our doors and restoring hope to our community.
Mukasa Memorial Medical Centre urgently needs support to restore and equip our operating theatres. The lack of a functioning surgical unit puts expectant mothers at serious risk—particularly those experiencing complications during labor. Without access to safe, timely surgical care, lives are at stake.
Every day, women in our community face life-threatening childbirth complications that could be prevented with a simple surgical intervention, such as a caesarean Section. Restoring our operating theatres means we can once again provide emergency obstetric care, save lives, and give mothers and babies a safe start.
We are appealing for financial contributions, surgical equipment, and technical expertise to help us reopen this critical unit. Your support could be the difference between life and loss for a mother and her child.
We need your help to achieve.

We are requesting for financial support for the much-needed renovation of the Out-Patient Block. This facility serves a critical role in providing accessible healthcare to our community, but its current state has deteriorated over time, affecting both patient care and staff efficiency.
Hi Visitor, hope you are doing well. This is a call seeking your generous support for the completion of the Operating Theater Block at Mukasa Memorial Medical center. This critical project remains unfinished due to funding constraints, severely limiting our capacity to provide life-saving surgical care to our community.
I bring your attention to a critical challenge at our facility: a severe shortage of medical and support staff, which is compromising our ability to deliver timely, quality care to our community. With a community of patients served daily and only a few staff members available, our teams are overstretched, leading to burnout, delayed treatments, and avoidable risks.
We welcome partnerships to co-design this initiative—whether through direct funding, salary sponsorships, or training collaborations.
We seek funds to setup, enhance and sustain six critical healthcare services serving vulnerable patients annually in Kitimbwa - Bugerere (Uganda).
